Be Strong in the Strength of the Lord

Sunday morning we looked at Ephesians 6:10-13. There we saw that, as Christians, we have a real enemy and find ourselves engaged in a real battle. In order to stand in this battle, we saw that we are called upon to make use of the resources God gives us in order to stand with His strength.

Sunday night we looked at Genesis 22. There we considered the story of Abraham and Isaac on Mount Moriah. Most importantly, we looked at some rich parallels between Isaac and Jesus.

Last night we continued with our study of Genesis by looking at all of chapter 19. There we saw the story of how God rescued Lot from Sodom.

New Identity, New Lifestyle

Yesterday morning we looked at Ephesians 4:17-24. There we saw that our new identity in Christ should lead to a new lifestyle. I was not able to record this sermon.

Last night we looked at all of Genesis 16. There we saw the story of Abram and Hagar. As we looked at this story we considered, among other things, that God’s will is perfect (that we never have to violate God’s will to do God’s will).
